The Golden Ticket is back, this time with a new venue and a twist. The 9th annual juried exhibition will be held at the Trailside Nature Center at Burnet Woods. Cincinnati Parks and the CCAC invite you to be inspired by the Woods, by the architecture and by the history of both! The Trailside Nature Center was completed in 1939, a collaborative project between the PWA and the CCC, designed by Carl Freund, and inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Works submitted should respond to nature, to human’s relationship with nature, and/or the park or its included architecture. Works can be any media, but are not to exceed 7 lbs in weight, or 3’ in any direction.
This exhibit is open to artists living or working with a 25-mile radius of the CCAC. Only artists 18 and older may submit works. All works must be original in concept, design, and execution.
Artists may enter a maximum of five pieces of art for jury consideration. Digital images of the art must be submitted via email to email@example.com with “GOLDEN TICKET SUBMISSION” written in the subject line. Up to three images for each three-dimensional work will be accepted. No original art will be accepted for jury submission.
1. JPEG images of art
2. Word Document with art descriptions and artists contact information
Entries submitted without fees or after the deadline will not be eligible.
Once the jury process is complete you will be notified which art piece(s) were selected for exhibition. Accepted art must be hand-delivered to CCAC during scheduled times. Identification labels must be securely attached to the back or bottom of the art with: artist’s name, title of art, medium, size, price, phone and email address.
Size and weight of work is limited to that which can be moved by one person. Any work that is hung must be no more than 20 pounds and must be delivered ready to hang. All art must be wired for hanging, or have included any necessary hanging hardware. No art with saw tooth hangers will be accepted.
All possible care will be taken of the entries, but the CCAC can assume no responsibility for damage or loss of works. Artists must insure their own works.
Artists are encouraged to offer their art for sale. Any work not priced will be marked “not for sale.” CCAC will retain 25% of the sale price.
