Food Vendors: Big Dogg BBQ and Brown Bear Bakery

Community Partner: Every Child Succeeds

Many thanks to this week’s generous concert sponsor, Resor/Hedgerow & Amazon/Egbert Avenues!

Join us for this week’s Wednesdays on the Green – free evening concerts every Wednesday at 7pm – featuring a performance by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company! We’ve lined up musical performances from May 31 – August 9, and we can’t wait for a summer filled with music, dancing, hands-on art making for kids, picnics, summer treats and shared memories. Kick back in the grass, enjoy the show and meet some new friends on the beautiful lawn at CCAC.

August’s Community Partner is Every Child Succeeds – kindly bring donations of items for children ages 0-3 years of age (diapers, wipes, clothing, bath supplies, and toys) for Avondale, Corryville & Mt. Auburn families.

About the Performers: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company
Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its tradition for over a decade of performing Shakespeare in the Park in communities across the tri-state area with The Merry Windsor and Romeo and Juliet this summer! CSC provides one of the largest programs for free outdoor Shakespeare in the nation, both in number of stops and the radius of the region visited. Admission to Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare in the Park Tour is free and open to the public. There are no ticket or RSVPs required and all performances are general admission.

About the Play: The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare
How do you con a conman? You beat him at his own game, of course! That’s the lesson learned by Shakespeare’s legendary comedic cad, Sir John Falstaff, as he tries to remedy his financial woes by chasing two happily married women–using the same scam at the same time. But it’s not long before these witty wives sniff out his scheme, turning the tables on their would-be wooer and illustrating emphatically that “wives may be merry and yet honest too.”

See the entire Wednesdays on the Green lineup!

Many heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors!
