Your neighborhood, your arts! Join CCAC for a celebration of Hands-On Arts at ArtsWave Days: we have a full schedule of exciting arts, dance, music, and wellness classes planned. Stop by for an hour or the whole day – view the schedule below!
ArtsWave Days: Hands-On Arts takes place at CCAC @ Short Vine (2728 Short Vine Street). Parking is available on-street as well as in nearby garages: click here for a map!

Hourly Schedule
Day 1
- 10:00am - 11:00am
- Guitar with Manuel Susarret
- Join CCAC Guitar Instructor Manuel Susarret for a hands-on experience, and guitar music by some of Manuel's students. All ages welcome!
- 11:00am - 12:00pm
- Salsa with Salsannati
- Watch a short performance by Salsannati Dance Studio, then get your feet moving as company members lead a demonstration!
- 12:00pm - 1:00pm
- Vocal Music with Cindy Candelaria-Pieve
- Join CCAC Voice Instructor Cindy Candelaria-Pieve for an introduction to music and signing together! Then, enjoy pieces by a few of Cindy's vocal students.
- 12:00pm - 1:00pm
- Craft Hour: Felted Succulents
- Try your hand at creating a Felted Succulent! Program is limited to 15 crafters ages 8+ and their families. Crafters should arrive at the start of the program to receive instruction and complete project.
- 12:30pm - 1:30pm
- Tap Dance with Gloria Esenwein
- Lift your soul/sole! Gloria will lead us in Tap dance basics—no tap shoes required
- 1:00pm - 2:00pm
- Acro Yoga with Cincy Acro
- Watch a short acro flow by Cincy Acro, then get your body moving as instructors lead a demonstration!
- 1:00pm - 2:00pm
