Clifton Cultural Arts Center Offers Enriching Winter Courses for Kids and Adults
Urban, Regional Arts Center Announces Lineup of Classes for Visual Arts, Movement and Music
CINCINNATI, OH [November 16, 2009] - The Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) announces its new winter lineup of enriching courses for kids and adults throughout Greater Cincinnati. The 2010 winter class schedule at the CCAC has a diverse array of courses for kids and adults -including the CCAC's newest addition, a Nia technique course for adults taught by Uma Sivaprasad. Nia technique, which means "body's way", is a movement exercise that is derived from nine different techniques of the disciplines of martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. The Nia movement class will take place at the CCAC on Tuesday nights from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
CCAC Executive Director Ruth Dickey says, "We are excited to launch a new lineup of winter classes. From our new Nia movement class for adults to acting classes for kids, the staff and volunteers at the CCAC hope to inspire and energize local residents in their New Years' resolutions. We also hope our new classes will energize local families during the cold, wintry months."
Winter classes at the CCAC begin the week of January 11, 2010, unless otherwise noted. Classes are open for new members. Those interested in joining should call 513.497.2860 or visit cliftonculturalarts.org.
