CCAC's Home Named Top 10 Opportunity
Fantastic news! We are delighted to share that the 1906 Clifton School building home of the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) has been named one of Heritage Ohio's 2009 Top 10 Opportunities.
Each year, Heritage Ohio selects 10 historic buildings around the state as top opportunities for redevelopment, based on the historical significance of the buildings, the potential for positive impact, and the level of community support. The Clifton School, currently being redeveloped as the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, is the only Cincinnati building included in this year's Top 10.
Joyce Barrett, Executive Director of Heritage Ohio, explained their selection saying, "The Clifton School, which was completed in 1906, was designed by E. H. Dornette, who served as architect for the Cincinnati Board of Education in the early 1900s and whose school designs are among the most admired of the 20th century." Read more about Heritage Ohio and the other buildings selected around the state.
All of us at CCAC are proud of this statewide recognition of the importance of our work to transform the previously vacant Clifton School building into a thriving arts hub serving the Uptown community and beyond. Thank you to our supporters who have caught the vision for renovating this historic building into its compelling use as a cultural arts center.

CCAC Executive Director
